The GTZ Group has been helping companies and individuals since 2003 in the US, during all this time the mission and philosophy have been the same, To help others perform better. The GTZ Group has intentionally remain multi

industry because we believe in cross pollination, where an industry's well known and perfected best practice is complete innovation in another, and this fits perfectly with our philosophy to derivate, optimize and integrate.

Originally when first created, the GTZ Group had a designed program to correct and optimize operations, the lead to the development of computer systems to monitor and remotely manage the company's operations; eventually, this area became it's own company. At the end of the restructuring process, the consulting support was focused on boosting marketing efforts, once financial and operational processes were optimized; and, while helping clients place products overseas, it was created, GTZ Trade with a mirror sister company in Mexico City. The GTZ Group had 4 companies with offices in 3 countries, US-Phoenix, Mexico-Mexico City and Canada-Calgary.

Eventually the GTZ Group was restructured into its current version, Corporate Management and Operational Consulting through GTZ Group and BioPower AZ the sustainable counterpart focused on renewable resources and environmental economics.

Hector Mr GTZ GuTierreZ, company Founder and Managing Director, started the GTZ Group right after obtaining his Master in International Management from Thunderbird, then the American Graduate School of International Management; with the vision to help small and medium companies to be better, to have better management and to optimize their processes. The company's operations, either from cooking at a restaurant or manufacturing the most innovative product, is completely different than managing that same company and make it profitable and successful. Managing a successful business is a unique set of skills totally different than its operations, and it requires also very precise and efficient tools, processes and procedures. So, it is here where The GTZ Group can help most companies.

The GTZ Group has an international network of approximately 20 affiliate partners, experts in many different disciplines and from all over the world, all of them available to jump into action as needed.

Hector "Mr GTZ" Gutierrez

Mr. GTZ has over than 20 years of professional expertise in his passion: international business. He is the Founding President and CEO for GTZ Group, a business generating and management consulting company focused on the NAFTA Region, with track record in 14 countries worldwide.

Since 1993, Mr. Gutierrez has lead and/or participated in 15 startups across the Americas, covering different industries such as management consulting, Internet (First Website in history in Spanish & Portuguese), Import/Export, Green Energy/Fuels, consumer goods, food, apparel, scientific and academic research, and telecommunications. Mr. Gutierrez has a Master’s Degree in International Business Administration, with specialization in Strategic Management and International Marketing, from Thunderbird School of Global Management; a Business Administration Graduate Degree from UC Berkeley; Graduate Degree in Data Science from Johns Hopkins University; Master’s in Theology and Divinity (he is an ordained Minister); a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Advertising from Universidad de la Comunicación, Mexico; and, currently working on his Masters in Psychology. He is Board and Founding Member of AEM Phoenix, served as Treasurer and board member at NARP, (North America Research Partnership), Board of Directors member and Founding Bord of Advisors for PAL Experiences, former board member of the Business Advisory Council (BAC) at Mesa Community College, board member at the Thunderbird Alumni Network, Phoenix Chapter, founding and board and founding member of Ex-A-Tec Arizona, former member of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE); former board member and cochair of the Phoenix Sisters Cities Commission on the Calgary committee and member of the Phoenix and Hermosillo Committees; and the Thunderbird Mexican Association, and former member of NSHMBA (National Society of Hispanic MBAs).

As a good Renaissance man, outside work Mr GTZ used to enjoy polo as a player, member of several polo clubs, and umpire; former motorcycle traveler and racer; and, in his youth, devoted Ice Hockey player, he was member of the Mexican National Ice Hockey Team in 1992, he also was certified International Referee by the IIHA and he has coached several teams. Mr Gutierrez practices Yoga, is an avid bike rider (mountain and road) and enjoys as many outdoors sports as he can. He also is passionate about music from Jazz to Rock including classical, he plays guitar and is learning piano. Mr GTZ is fluent in English and Spanish, and mid level in Portuguese; for his language skills he is thankful to his friends and clients around the world.
